A vibrant tribute to legacy, youth, and bold craftsmanship.

Louis Vuitton’s Pre-Fall 2024 show brought creativity and culture to the forefront, landing in Shanghai as part of the Women’s Voyager Show. This event also marks a decade of Nicolas Ghesquière’s leadership at the Maison, reflecting on his transformative impact on the brand.
The collection was a captivating blend of artistic contrast — vivid hues, graphic motifs, and modern textures meeting timeless silhouettes and rich leather craftsmanship. A sense of playful energy permeated every look, inspired in part by the vibrancy of Chinese youth culture.
An Artistic Voyage
Collaborating with contemporary artist Sun Yitian, the show featured cheerful, animal-inspired motifs across ready-to-wear and accessories. Ghesquière balanced nostalgia with novelty, allowing artistic prints to reinvent classic bags with a refreshing, youthful twist.
The runway reintroduced iconic bags such as the Capucines, OnTheGo, Petite Malle, and Dauphine — but with relaxed tailoring and inventive finishes. The Side Trunk and Noé stood out with their retro-meets-modern aesthetic, proving the Maison’s ability to renew history through design.
